We’re committed to grounding Second Step® programs in research and evidence. Our products are developed and updated on the foundation of current research findings and best practices. This means that we’re always investing to innovate our digital programs based on customer feedback and the latest research.
We’re also committed to robust and ongoing support across our family of programs. This implementation support is included with program adoption at no additional cost.
Did customer feedback influence this year’s pricing updates?
Yes. We carefully considered feedback from schools and districts when evaluating this year’s pricing updates, and we worked to keep changes as limited as possible while continuing to invest in the programs, tools, and support educators rely on.
When do the new prices take effect?
The new pricing is effective from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027. We work to remain transparent with our clients and share pricing updates with as much notice as possible to ensure clients can plan and budget for renewal and purchases. Please know that the new pricing for our physical products can be found in the Second Step store or the Second Step Programs Price List and Order Form. Can I purchase or renew at current pricing before the increase?
Yes. Schools and districts can purchase or renew at current pricing through October 31, 2026.
For subscriptions, access will continue uninterrupted, and any newly purchased term will begin when the current subscription expires.
Do these pricing changes affect existing subscriptions?
No. Existing subscriptions will continue through the end of their current term. Updated pricing applies to new purchases and renewals completed on or after November 1, 2026.
What is included with a Second Step® subscription?
Second Step subscriptions provide access to research-based instructional content, educator implementation resources, customer support, and ongoing product updates designed to help schools support student success and well-being.
